Reykjavík Arts Festival 2008

Reykjavík Arts Festival had put – after 30 years of existence – for the first time in Icelandic history its focus on visual arts. The successful event, curated by internationally well-known Jessica Morgan from Tate Modern, took place in 2005 (see LIST #1, #2). Now the Festival organization has announced to give the visual arts another time a platform next year. During the opening days around May 15th 2008 over ten exhibitions will open accompanied by concerts and performances. So: save the date! A detailed program will be published by the end of the year.
