Magnús Árnason at LISTE8

The Young Art Fair LISTE, one of the most important fair for young galleries and artists, is an invaluable complement to Art Basel. The last three years saw the introduction of a performance project at LISTE. This has provided a platform for ephemeral works that are rarely presented at art fairs and do not have an easy time in the art market. LISTE 08 invited the Icelandic artist Magnús Árnason to perform in the Warteck area, a former brewery, in Basel.

Magnús participated in the Torino Trienale 2005 and lastly at Locust Projects in Miami 2007, and most of his dark, mystic and powerful installations include a performance aspect.

Performance: Wednesday, June 4, 6p.m.
