Expanded Video Archive

CIA.IS introduces 60 artists

A helpful tool for every art lover who visits Iceland is the Center for Icelandic Art's video archive. Since the center opened in May 2005 the archive is frequently expanding in order to provide a wide spectrum of artistic activity. The 60 artists of different generations working in various media represented in the video archive are additionally introduced on the CIA.IS website.

Recently added artists are Ásdís Sif Gunnarsdóttir, Eirún Sigurðardóttir, Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir, Helgi Þórsson, Hildur Bjarnadóttir, Huginn Þór Arason, Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir, Olga Bergmann, JBK Ransú, Sigrún Ólafsdóttir and Sirra Sigrún Sigurðardóttir.
