Two Nominations for International Photographic Prize

Katrin Elvarsdottir and Einar Falur Ingólfsson have been nominated for the prestigious Deutsche Börse Photographic Prize, 2009. The prize is awarded for a great contribution to photography and aims to raise the profile of contemporary photography. The international jury will choose only four artists from the group of nominees, who will participate in an exhibition in London next year, and finally choose a winner in March 2009. This year's winner is the renowned Finnish photographer Esko Männikkö, who had been shortlisted along with John Davies, Jacob Holdt and Fazal Sheik.
